I think we need to change what is critical, why is infant formula not considered mission critical to the FDA?

So, a product with no substitute, to me, that sounds like baby formula, other than mother's breast milk, but some mothers cannot breastfeed for whatever reason.

It is amazing to me, and it saddens me a little bit, that we actually have to legislate this, but if that is what it takes to keep people safe, I mean it is a shame that we have to legislate.

I am not going to start with the kids.

If you truly want to care about the American people and truly want to get your fiscal house in order... stop with the fear mongering.

Because, you know, anybody who has flown, everything is on time and nothing runs late, right? That is the first thing we are going to cut.

The first thing we are going to cut is WIC, my God. Now, forget about the $1.5 billion in tree planting.

So, what I find troubling, disheartening, and if it wasn't factual, kind of comical, is what my colleagues on the other side of the aisle want to cut.

The American people want us to do this. They want us to get this under control.

We have to get spending under control.

They are going to cut, you know, food to children, and I think that that was one of the examples that Representative McClain used.

In my opinion, simply put, ESG is politization of investing and continues to be weaponized by the radical left.

In my opinion, ESG investments distribute money based on political agendas. That is not their job.

What is the harm in saying, hey, I entered into a pledge that requires me to do some ESG stuff?

I am all for people to have choice in where their money goes and what they look at, right?

I support fielding increased quantities of critical munitions like SM-6 and appreciate that inventories are critically low relative to warfighter requirements.

I take a little bit of offense to that.

The military being political is just--it is not positive.

Nearly 70 percent of the Active Duty service members have witnessed really a politicization of the military.

It is good to see you again.

As Members of Congress, we have an obligation, an obligation to do everything we can to ensure that our communities are safe.

At some point in time, we have to figure out solutions to the issues, and these are very complicated, very complex issues.

President Biden's open border policies have exacerbated the fentanyl crisis.

We have a duty to our constituents and the American people. I ask the Committee to stop putting our politics over people's lives.

Maybe it is sanctions. I mean, maybe there is not just one lever that we pull.
