We want our money back.

I don't want to ask permission from somebody else to use my market access as leverage.

Are we ever going to get serious about stopping the trade?

If we wanted to stop Iranians enriching themselves, we wouldn't be talking about lists, and we wouldn't be talking about the U.N.

The American worker doesn't want referring to other agencies. Our folks that get their technology stolen don't want to get referred to other agencies. They want leadership.

If we put our markets on the table and said, 'Any more hacking, you lose access to our retail markets,' that would go away immediately.

I mean, we could stop it next month. Just shut down the retail markets to cheaters, and let the American worker catch a break for once, all at the same time.

Why not protect the American worker a little bit?

I am against U.S. involvement in Syria under the current strategy, voted against arming folks there with taxpayer money.

All of my own managerial experience would say to delete the hell out of this so that... it will make the hacker's job impossible.

If one of my nieces and nephews came to me and said they were going to take a job at the Federal Government, I would say, 'Don't do it. Your information is not secure.'

It seems that we are not using our money at the U.N. to create leverage and nor are we using our markets to create leverage.

We're from the Government and we're here to help.

We make mistakes when we make decisions based on assumptions, as opposed to separating what we assume from what we know.

I hope we can have on-going conversations so that we can get the right balance here, because it very much concerns me that we will overreact and that individual customers and companies and folks will bear the price for that.

This felt like a sad decision to me because it seemed to bypass a normal conversation with all stakeholders.

If more people die because of this process, then what are we doing?

I think that the idea that we are the only arbiter in the Arab world as this religious political civil war plays out bothers me a little bit.

I am glad that India companies invest in the United States, and only private investment produces good-paying jobs. Governments do not.

It feels like a perilous situation to me as our enemies consolidate friends, allies, and territory.

People are dying and these are people that don't deserve to die.
