First of all, I want to thank you for the question. Second, the President has got to give us a TSA nominee that we can confirm, and then we have to stop screwing around with holds so that we can confirm them.

We just don't want to be spending money. We also want to be able to get results for our science.

I think this is what is different from our country. I mean, we have got to be able to get together, put it out on the table, speak uncensored and unfettered, and let us solve some of these problems.

We have been down the road of promises before, both the Federal Government, when we promised funding and broke that promise.

We hear about out-of-service escalators and elevators. That is a top favorite, as well as closed entrances and exits and train delays.

That is like 10 percent of the Government's funding.

If this proposal is the best that we can do as a Nation, then we do not deserve, I believe, the rich heritage of human space flight.

Well, let me, right then go to one of my favorite topics, which is NOAA.

I know you will bring sensitivity and expedition to this.

They have to be trained and equipped.

We had to junk the hand-held computers.

Do you feel that the climate toward whistleblowers has improved?

I think we really have to congratulate law enforcement for that.

This white collar crime--insidious, virulent, and despicable--is really undermining our families.

Because they had been trained, equipped, and trusted, we were able to bring that sniper to justice.

If you can't get to work, even if you have had the best rehab, or keep your doctor's appointment, but there needs to be a way then to consider how at the national level to be able to do that.

Well, Mr. Secretary, we know we've got a lot of followup to do.
