I came here specifically to talk about Yucca Mountain because of the efforts of my colleague.
I urge you to support the funding levels in the President's budget request for $116 million for nuclear waste disposal, and $38.5 million to restart the licensing process with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
I expect this Committee will continue to be a beacon of bipartisanship in a very partisan institution over the next couple of years.
Gregg knows that he will be dearly missed. This Committee is going to have a big loss with both of them going away.
