Thank you, Chairman Duffy, and thank you to the Housing and Insurance Subcommittee for calling this hearing today in my home State of Kentucky, which is truly on the front lines of the opioid crisis.

It is altogether appropriate that this field hearing is taking place in the United States District Courthouse.
