People are worried about having enough income and savings to pay for health care emergencies.

No one feels more secure in their job. No one feels like their children are going to have a brighter future.

Very few--I do not know if I have had a conversation with a Kansan who sees their economic future brighter.

I want to follow up a bit on the Senator from Arkansas' conversation about FINRA oversight.

You may use your position to encourage FINRA to be cooperative with Congress, open and available to us.

Does the SEC currently have legal authority to approve the addition of additional market experts as voting participants in the governance of NMS plans?

This is an important provision in getting their product to their retailers.

I raise to you this particular issue of education of states... where their jurisdiction now lies?

Senator Moran's draft legislation would put an end to this dangerous and costly practice.

PVA strongly supports the draft bill "Veterans Mobility Safety Act of 2016" submitted for discussion by Senator Moran.

It is my understanding, Mr. Secretary, that you, the VA, supports the codification of your decision.

I want to thank you for those efforts to take care of those who might otherwise qualify for Choice, but in the process of qualifying for Choice would lose the provider they have today.

The goal here today is to make certain that those veterans who are participating in ARCH as we move to Choice do not lose their care.

I continue to be supportive of that effort, but as a pathway to something like Choice, we created ARCH.

I very much appreciate the efforts at--that Microsoft is making to train, educate--to encourage the training and education of folks in science and engineering.

I think it was recognized several years ago that we, as a Nation, don't really have a science-of-science policy.

I would welcome your thoughts about that and its proper place of--in the COMPETES Act as an opportunity for us to advance this cause.
