Pete Buttigieg is an American politician and attorney currently serving as the United States Secretary of Transportation, a position he has held since February 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, Buttigieg previously served as the Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, from 2012 to 2020. During his tenure as mayor, he focused on urban revitalization, infrastructure improvements, and economic development, gaining national attention for his leadership style and innovative policies.
Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that there have to be nine Supreme Court justices… It just takes a readiness to set up a court that fits this country. We could have 13 seats matching the district structure of the federal judiciary.
I don’t live in New York, but I think he has the capacity to be a great mayor.

And now in front of us, we’re confronted with the decisions that come next. And that’s where we’ve got to focus.
But it literally was his decision. Nobody else was able to make that decision.
Netanyahu can't be the only voice, or kind of the only compass for what should happen in the U.S. Israel relationship.

It’s going to get paid for in a way that’s much, much more expensive for the health care system, but most importantly, it’s going to get paid for with people’s lives.
