Pete Buttigieg is an American politician and attorney currently serving as the United States Secretary of Transportation, a position he has held since February 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, Buttigieg previously served as the Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, from 2012 to 2020. During his tenure as mayor, he focused on urban revitalization, infrastructure improvements, and economic development, gaining national attention for his leadership style and innovative policies.
Maybe, you know, right now, with the benefit of hindsight, I think most people would agree that is the case.
