We need to come together as Americans and address the fact that the future of our country is dying.

We need to act now.

It`s very clear that the NRA board and leadership is not the same as the membership.

It's important to note that NRA members are not the enemy here. It's the NRA Board.

We must do something to save our kids, which is why we`re calling for a march, a second March For Our Lives on June 11 around the country, for Republicans to come in, for Democrats to come in, for Americans of all political affiliations…

We agree that we need to end gun violence in this country.

We need to address the gun industry the way we needed to address the tobacco industry.

We had the highest youth voter turnout in a -- in a non-presidential midterm in American history in 2018. And then we have the highest youth ever in 2020. We voted out more NRA-backed politicians than ever before in American history.

We’re not going to wait until the next shooting happens to address this.

I think the reality is, we are not nearly as divided as we think we are.

No, and that's part of the reason why I'm also hopeful is because the NRA is at the weakest position they've ever been in American history.

This time is going to be different.

We demand they act even if it’s in a small way. It may not absolutely eradicate gun violence, but we need one step.

We have changed power in Congress -- in the House and the Senate and in the White House and not a single gun law has changed.

We need Republican senators to get on board with it. We need to have a conversation about what can we agree on?

We as Americans need to realize that our union isn’t just imperfect, it is severely broken right now because we can’t even do the basic duty of government.

What`s is unacceptable to me is when we started, we did not have a majority in the House, the Senate, or the White House. Despite changing all of those things in four years, which had not happened in a decade, still, not a single law has…

I mean it already is -- the movement is not broken, young people aren`t broken, survivors aren`t broken. Our government is broken.

We need serious action from the Biden administration. We need serious action from Republican senators to break through the filibuster that is actively killing our children, that is killing our parents, that is killing our friends and…

This is not a Democratic or Republican issue. This is an American issue that few other -- basically, no other high income country has to deal with.

It is our government that is broken.

Why are we waiting, frankly, for another Parkland to happen? Because it`s going to happen at this point. It is.

There is not a single person in this country, liberal, Democrat, conservative, whatever it may be, that should not be calling, writing, tweeting, or any -- or anything else to the White House right now demanding that President Biden uses…

we need every single liberal, every single person in this country... to be calling on Biden to do what is right, right now.

The adults, the older adults that have the power that are old enough to run for Congress, frankly, need to do theirs, because kids are dying every single day because of Democrats` inaction that we`re seeing right now.
