We’re trying to be a scalpel here. And it’s not just, it’s not about being out with the old and in with the new. It’s about being out with the ineffective and in with the effective.

They don’t want to acknowledge the uncomfortable truth, which is that we have to dramatically change as a party, and what brought us here is not what’s going to get us out.

We need people that are going to be affected by the decisions that are made today that will impact them 40 years from now because they will be alive 40 years from now too.
