We believe that this should be extended beyond this to also cover eligibility for children in kinship care and in foster care eligibility in the same way.

CWLA appreciates the recent action of a Member of this Subcommittee, Congressman John Lewis (D-GA) for his recent introduction of H.R. 3329.

The three things that I think that only Congress can do, it can set priorities, it can modernize authorities, and it can provide the resources.

Rep. John Lewis has introduced H. R. 1093, which contains two provisions regarding the current $5,300 fee agreement fee cap.

I support H.R. 1093 to raise the current fee cap from $5,300 to $6,264.50.

Never again should we allow a White House and the administration or any Congress to tell seniors they have got to wait 2 to 4 years to have a disability claim adjudicated.

In Atlanta, I believe people are waiting 561 days. In Atlanta North, they wait 668 days for a hearing. People shouldn't be waiting that long.

We can't do this anymore. You cannot come and testify and not ring the bells if you are not getting the resources you need.

Any proposed assistance that excludes needy households is incomplete and inadequate, in my view.

I believe healthcare is a right and it is not a privilege. As a nation, we have a moral obligation to provide healthcare for all of our citizens.

We need somebody in charge at the White House who will implement a comprehensive plan.

It is refreshing to me to walk into a room where at least it is filled with people who are positive bleeding hearts who aren't just asking for money.

Securing cyberspace will help enable recovery and future growth.
