Now I don't know if this leak out of the Justice Department or wherever it came, was a coincidence or not, but I'll let anybody else try to connect the dots.

That gives us some time to step back and try to negotiate with the Department of Justice.
House Speaker Dennis Hastert and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi say the bureau violated the constitutional separation of powers when it raided the office of Congressman William Jefferson.
Those people involved in that issue ought to be frozen out of that just for the sake of the constitutional aspect of it.

We have passed legislation time and time again, with Democrats blocking it. But that was history. Now this is the future. And we need to move forward.
We are 65 percent dependent on foreign oil. Places like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Nigeria and Venezuela, whenever they decide to turn the spigot or raise the prices, our consumers suffer.
This is not about personalities. It's not about somebody's ego. It's not about racial profiling. It's trying to make this place safer and working with the people who try to make it safer.
I am concerned about the national security implications of the deal and called for an immediate moratorium.
