As you know, we have another ARS facility in Georgia, which just happens to be in my district in Byron, Georgia.

The President's budget for fiscal year 2016 included an investment of $113.7 million for the new Agricultural Research Service Poultry Laboratory in Athens, Georgia.

Very quickly, I notice that the fiscal year 2016 budget proposes a decrease of $2.8 million for two research projects that are currently being performed in Athens.

That facility has the world's greatest bank of pecan plants anywhere in the world, and it is a shame for it not to be maximized.

There are some of us and many economists who believe that dynamic scoring relies on uncertain assumptions about certain policy changes.

In fiscal year 2015, $20 million was appropriated to fund the Judiciary Court Security Program, and in 2016, GSA is again requesting another $20 million to address the serious security deficiencies.

In my district, the Federal courthouse in Columbus, Georgia has been ranked as one of the worst Federal courthouses with respect to security over the past several years.

Wouldn't the cost of compliance with an 870-page rule be significant to the parties, the States, and local governments, and any other parties that utilize the prepaid cards?

Many of us at some point would like to see persistent poverty counties in the nation have a targeted plan of action from USDA and all federal agencies.

Of course, for Georgia, wood products are incredibly important and where processing and manufacturing of forest products employs almost 150,000 people in the State.
