I do hereby proclaim the week beginning July 27, 1986, as National Nuclear Medicine Week.

I am pleased to announce my intention to designate Colby H. Chandler to be Chairman of the President's Export Council.

The family is the most basic unit in our society.

I encourage all families to use the family reunion to tap these roots again and to renew their pledge of love and concern for each other.

And I'm glad that this is such a small, intimate gathering, because what I really wanted was the chance to thank you personally for being our emissary of good will to the people of the Soviet Union.

You know the meetings between artists and politicians are fraught with peril.

You were our ambassador of the heart, and for that I want to thank you both for myself and for all of America.

Our robust economy has created over 10 million jobs since the recovery began—more than Western Europe and Japan combined.

You ain't seen nothin' yet!

America's economy is strong, our future bright.

Believe me, they couldn't be more off the mark.

The world has lost one of her most respected statesmen.

Today we are here to celebrate the nomination of a dedicated public servant.

William A. Seavey, of California, for a term of 6 years.

I am pleased to nominate Dr. Spearman for this important position.

Even when times were tough, you show your mettle.

I pledge to you that I will not rest until every area of our country and every sector of our economy shares in the national prosperity.

This bill is premature.

It's a renewed understanding that, for all our faults, ours is a nation of goodness and greatness.

We are trying with everything we've got at our disposal.

The designation of the area as a national monument is questionable.
