Thank you, Mr. Chairman.

I was pleased to hear some of the testimony so far about how veterans can use their military experience to find meaningful work in the energy sector.

Our veterans deserve the best and we will continue to work hard for them and their families.

I want to begin by thanking Chairman Miller of the full committee and Ranking Member Michaud of the full committee for their bipartisan efforts in seeking to address allegations made regarding the Department of Veterans Affairs wait lists.

Do you think making it very user friendly for the student to be able--I mean, I think that is an important consumer information to make that user friendly.

We have introduced legislation to require schools to disaggregate and disseminate data on student veterans.

I have not heard that you said they are actually lowering the rate, but I would be interested in that information. I am not convinced that the for profit sector is really serving our veterans.

I want to congratulate the University of North Carolina and the intention to comply with the role of providing veterans with in-state tuition for the University of North Carolina.

How do you ensure that the system is not being flooded with false complaints?

The findings shed light on the amount of time it takes student veterans to complete higher education programs.
