For me, one of the most jarring moments of that hearing was when President Claudine Gay of Harvard, now rightfully former President, refused to answer time and time again whether she could assure the parents of a Jewish student, or a perspective Jewish student, that their child would feel safe and welcome on her campus.

This is really our opportunity here for the House to assert itself when it comes to directing the resolution of this conflict on acceptable terms.
Importantly, the extension is temporary and fully paid for, so it can’t increase the deficit.
The decision to fund or reduce funding for projects should be based on neutral criteria as to whether those projects advance the public interest and are a prudent use of taxpayer dollars.
