I think it is good for democracy. I think it is good for the people there to understand we are doing this because this is what free countries do, this is what democracy does, as opposed to the Chinese who do it for self-interest.

I certainly think that China poses the greatest threat for the United States going forward.
We have had this in our history. I can tell you along--I have lived most of my life along the border in California and Mexico.
This is the community that is highly at risk, and so this is why we dedicate significant resources to attending to their humanitarian needs.
We are investing for the future, this is a smart investment, and I really thank you, Madam Chairwoman, for bringing this forward.
I hope I don't hear from Texas anymore telling us how great they are with everything, when they couldn't keep the electricity on.
