Recent leadership by the Governments of Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, and Canada to seek to hold Maduro accountable for his crimes against the Venezuelan people is welcome news.

I plan to introduce legislation with two objectives: The first, to explicitly prohibit Fannie and Freddie from engaging in lobbying activities while in conservatorship.

I urge we use this responsibility and adopt this resolution.
