we just passed a wartime supplemental, and I wanted to make a note that it was unanimously done. I think it is a marvelous tribute to this country and this body that when this country is faced with the challenges that we have in front of us and our young people are deployed to protect us and our interests, that we bind together as a team, that we bind together as a country and that our leadership is able to take us to where we need to go. The work that the gentleman from Florida (Mr. Young) and the gentleman from Wisconsin (Mr. Obey) have done in working with the Senate is a marvelous tribute to their skills as legislators, and to the gentleman from Illinois (Mr. Hastert) and the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Pelosi) as Speaker and minority leader here in the House, they have my commendations. I am pleased to be here and be part of this momentous occasion.
