The Treasury's decision to let Lehman fail is causing catastrophic losses to many localities, resulting in job losses, termination of ongoing construction projects, and elimination or reduction in critical services.

I would like to get a response from them, and any effort that we can make on this committee to get Treasury to respond to this issue, I think, is really important.
