It is offensive to me that somebody was picked to win and the other people were picked to lose.

Can we just say on the street we call that picking winners and losers, and who gets to take advantage of things that weren't available to others in bankruptcy?

The thing about the American people, they trust us so much with the process, and they have great faith in the process until they find out they've been gamed.

This has been the most irresponsible waste of taxpayer money that I have seen in my lifetime.

So we invested--what was the total amount we invested? Sixteen billion.

How about the American taxpayers putting $15 billion at risk? Was that being prudent?

So the market wasn't created by a market demand, it was created by a government saying this is what you are going to do; you are going to do it with renewables, okay?

The American people have a right to know how did this happen.

But at the end of the day every single penny came out of taxpayers' pockets, it did not come out of the government; it was funneled through the government.

When we follow this Judas goat of taking money from the government, there are strings attached to all this money we take and there are repercussions.

The disconnect is so great here, it is so foreign to people who live in this area that this money actually comes out of working people's pockets.

This is taxpayer money.

There is just no money left for them to take care of their kids and to plan their future.

But then you say, well, where did the government get the money, and you find out it is people who actually pay taxes.

But it does come down to what is the return on the investment for the people whose money is actually at risk.

The American people are starting to wonder, billions and billions of dollars invested by a government that picks winners and losers

Sustainable jobs only come from the private sector. That is just the way it works.

This is not a Democrat or Republican situation; this is where we took American taxpayer money and we put it down on the green.

Our job is to protect the taxpayers.

When I am walking in the Third District of western Pennsylvania, to a person, everybody I talk to talks about the crushing boot the government puts on the throat of small business people.

The alliance that we have, right now, with South Korea is so critical both from a business standpoint and a geopolitical standpoint

We are in a battle, globally, and would you want to just explain the global market to Westinghouse.

If this agreement is allowed to lapse, or if we cannot conclude agreements with other countries for one reason or another, other countries will step in and take that.

The American people are looking for jobs right now. And we are looking for jobs everywhere possible.

There is no reason for this country, ever, to be in second place to anybody, anywhere in the world.
