Robert A. McDonald: “I am fully committed to fulfilling [President Obama's] charge to me--that is, to transform the Department of Veterans…”

This Congress with today's VA leadership team can make these changes and more.

To turn VA around, we must maintain our momentum of change, and we cannot do that without cooperation of Congress.

The appeals process set by statute is archaic, unresponsive, and not serving veterans well.

We certainly agree on how wrong it would be to privatize VA health care.
