We strongly encourage you to pass this bill out of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, with the strongest protections possible for the survivors of 9/11.

Congress did take a number of steps to address for-profits in the Higher Education Opportunity Act.

There seems to be some capability to do something about the rating agencies, that it is not quite the same way that the rating agencies work for businesses.

So you are investigating all proprietary schools then.

This credit-hour discussion I think should be pursued and we should find out more about it.

Government funding for for-profit schools should be linked to agreed upon standards, such as the demonstration of successful graduation and placement rates.

I am more confused than when I started.

I hope that there is going to be a similar analysis for the traditional 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities.
