We have heard complaints from the Tribes that the delays in the approval process have been a significant impediment.

There have been successes, but they have been too small. We need to do more.

What we need to do is remove unnecessary regulatory barriers to energy development.

It is my hope, Mr. Chairman, that we can address these and other impediments to development on Indian lands.
