Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn and then convene for pro forma session only, with no business being conducted, on the following dates and times: Tuesday, March 18, at 12:15 p.m. and Thursday, March 20, at 12 noon; further, that when the Senate adjourns on Thursday, March 20, it stand adjourned until 3 p.m. on Monday, March 24; that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day, morning business be closed, and the Senate proceed to executive session and resume consideration of Calendar No. 36, John Phelan, and that at 5:30 p.m., the Senate vote on confirmation of the Phelan nomination, followed by confirmation of Calendar No. 41, Christopher Landau; further, that the cloture motions filed during today's session of the Senate ripen on Tuesday, March 25; finally, that if any nominations are confirmed during Monday's session, the motions to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table and the President be immediately notified of the Senate's actions.
