So, when I come to a meeting like this or a hearing like this and we talk about water, I think one of the things that is incredibly important is that you have to understand that for the interior West especially, without irrigation…

It is through the creation of these types of projects that we have been able to create--and I will use the word again--the bounty that we have in the interior West.

We have also learned of the incredible benefits that these projects provide in relation to irrigation and what irrigation has done in terms of creating the bounty that we have in the interior Western United States.

The 1902 Reclamation Act was a visionary piece of legislation that recognized that the future of the United States required the development, management, and use of our natural resources, including our water and our real property.

Forty-eight percent of the surface estate in Wyoming is owned by the Federal Government, and 65 percent of our mineral estate is owned by the Federal Government.

Is the Federal Government involved in all of the decisions related to road building on your reservation?

For many Indian tribes and Alaskan Natives, real property holdings are the basis for social, cultural, and religious life and often their single most important economic resource.

These disparities contribute to higher rates of unemployment in Indian Country, and an underdeveloped business and entrepreneur environment.

Although tribes are sovereign governments, some suffer health, social, and economic disparities, as well as higher poverty rates in comparison to other non-Native communities.

Today, there are 574 federally recognized Indian tribes with a population of approximately 2.8 million American Indian and Alaskan Natives living in the United States.

We are proud of the fact that we serve and make the lives better of the American people.

The fact is that these lawsuits are intended to force energy poverty on Wyoming and the Americans that we serve.

Like any policy that has been in place for five decades, NEPA should be updated to address current societal needs.

Coal is affordable, it is accessible, it is clean, and it is the energy of the future.

Over 40 percent of the coal that is produced in this country comes from my state, from the state of Wyoming.

I think it is rather unfortunate that this Administration doesn't see the direction the entire world is going with coal production.

When Joe Biden wages war on American mining alongside radical environmental groups, our state suffers and America suffers.

The bottom line for me, I believe that there is a special place in hell for those people who push policies that are intended to increase the cost of housing, food, and energy.

We have serious questions about the 2020 election. The election was rigged.

Wyoming has drawn a line in the sand that, if we put you in power, you will be accountable to us, you will answer to us and you will do what is in our best interests. And if you don`t, we will fire you.
