Thank you, gentlemen, for being here today.

I had tee shirts made for my second campaign that said 'Lummis rhymes with hummus' on them.

Incredibly, the President is even attempting to limit the global use of coal by restricting international aid for it in developing countries.

EPA is just one agency leading the war on coal.

Unfortunately, this is one campaign promise that the President appears determined to keep.

Adding injury to insult, this attack is being led by our own President.

Rarely, however, has such a beneficial, life-improving resource upon which society depends been under such hostile attack.

Coal is of critical importance to the United States.

I thank the gentleman for yielding. The ICBM land-based missiles are the most cost-economical deterrent of the nuclear triad. This is the most efficient way to deter our enemies.

Clearly, EPA should do much more to put this information into context

I am troubled that the Agency continues to insist that it 'stands by its work' on Pavillion.

Last month, the Agency decided to terminate work on its draft report that wrongly alleged that groundwater contamination near Pavillion, Wyoming, was related to fracking.

Sadly, the Agency's track record in this regard, particularly in my home State of Wyoming, gives me little confidence.

The EPA's Study of the Potential Impact on--of Hydraulic Fracturing on Drinking Water Resources has been going on for over three years now, and the final report is expected next year.

The American people sent you a letter and asked, 'When are we going to receive our cooperating responses?'

Who do you work for? Who do you believe you work for?

Did the States create the Federal Government, or did the Federal Government create the States?

Congress took one State and punished one State, the one State that collects more money for AML than all the other States combined, and punished one State.

The States ceded their powers to the Federal Government. Wow.

H.R. 2068, sponsored by Representative Lummis, would reauthorize FLTFA, and WGA commends her for introducing this important legislation.

The way the Blueways order is written right now is that the local plan would be subservient and would probably vanish.

All of these locally carefully crafted on-the-ground plans are going to be diminished because you have a Federal Government, top-down, one-size-fits-all from Washington.

Clearly, a watershed in northeast Wyoming is not the same as a watershed in southwest Wyoming.

A Federal financial carrot was dangled in front of some of the folks that took a bite out of it, right?

I am very much in favor of a 21st century vision for conservation in this country.
