Carol Devine Miller is an American politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Wyoming's at-large congressional district, a position she has held since January 3, 2019. A member of the Republican Party, Miller has focused on issues pertinent to her constituents, including energy development and rural healthcare. She has been an advocate for policies that support Wyoming's economy and has worked on initiatives to enhance the state's infrastructure.
The coal industry has been under heavy scrutiny by Washington and usually by people who are really ignorant of the importance and the history of the product that you produce.
To me, it’s a little bit alarming because this man is no longer like a former president to a lot of these people. He is like a god.

During my time on this committee, my colleagues have heard me talk many times about the war on coal during President Obama's term.
They not only closed the mines, but they shuttered entire communities that supported their workers.
