The Clean Power Plan we're going to be talking about today--the focus of today's hearing will bring even more economic harm to West Virginia communities.

I would tell my colleagues and those in the audience and those listening that this would really go, I think, a long way toward helping what occurred with the non-toxic spill in our community.

I am a supporter of this bill, I will say that from the outset.

Do you have full confidence that you'll have this completed in time for that?

Finding more people, becoming aware of the services, is your reach broadening?

I wanted to compliment you on the Books for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.

Well, following up on that, if you're collecting more than you've ever collected before...

I think we should all be prepared to just work with the first 93 acres and not get into a long and potentially expensive process.

My last question will be about the Union Square and Grant Memorial conservation.

What about the question I asked in my opening statement in terms of the large projects?

I'm curious to know if the Library's overseas offices have been successful in salvaging any art relics or artifacts that may have been or may yet be targeted for destruction.

Where is that lease? If I could just interrupt you quickly, where is that facility?

I don't want to see us using taxpayer dollars to have to do environmental mitigation on land that we went out of our way to acquire.

If we flat fund you, we're not even going to get to that project.

Even in a small State like West Virginia, this is having some devastating effects.

I think the communication is much improved over what it has been, and I think that is something that we need to keep on top of.

I think you are doing better than the Senate.

I would like to ask the Sergeant at Arms. You mentioned your priorities, safety and security, cyber health, customer relations, preparedness and partnerships.

I thank all three of you for your testimony, and I join the voice of my ranking member here in thanking you for what you do for us every day and the general public and really for the country.

Is that built into your budget that you are 50 under?

I think it is a discussion we should have here.

Your staffing level is at 1,775. You are authorized for more officers. Correct? Or is that your statutory limit?

Is that a new policy?

Where are you right now?

Our own DEP has called it patently illegal, invading the province and it has been put forward with the finesses of a bull in a china shop.
