Ron Harold Johnson is an American businessman and politician currently serving as the junior United States senator from Wisconsin, a position he has held since January 3, 2011. A member of the Republican Party, Johnson has focused on issues such as fiscal responsibility, healthcare reform, and government accountability during his tenure in the Senate. He has been an outspoken advocate for reducing the federal deficit and has often emphasized the need for economic growth through private sector initiatives.
Russia has not attempted to negotiate in good faith and has done nothing to satisfy our concerns or those of our allies.
We really do need to take a look at alternatives to detention, take a look at research, take a look at the cost-effectiveness of that.
I think a sovereign nation needs to do that--enforce our immigration laws, maintain reasonable asylum standards, and also keep asylum-seeking families together.
This is just an ongoing problem, and, again, I would argue there are certainly things in our laws that have created an incentive for children to come in unaccompanied from Central America.
I want to quick interject here because I need to help our hearing moving forward to really get clarity on the whole judicial process here.
He has done a lot of work in terms of national security, maintenance of our nuclear stockpile to keep this Nation safe.
we all traveled with him. We saw his commitment to individual liberty, freedom, the type of hero he was not only in America, but you go over to Ukraine because he was fighting for, again, those kind of democratic values.
We need an attitude change. When you look at NATO, the combined economic firepower of NATO is well north of $30 trillion. Russia is less than two. How can NATO, how can the EU, how can America allow that puny little economic power push us…
I do not think in any administration we have taken that on as aggressively as we should.
Moving our battalions into Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland... is the right move.
Do we not also have to take a look at what right now is the alternative to Poroshenko?
We are engaged in a war of ideas with authoritarian powers because Putin and definitely Xi Jinping... believe that their model is superior to ours.
To me, Ukraine has to be a top priority. We need to stop and push back Putin's aggression there.
