I have been hearing concerns from folks in my district that DOD health facilities in our neck of the woods won't have the capacity to treat retirees.

Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in my district is undeniably vulnerable to climate change and represents a single point of failure for carrier maintenance in the Pacific.

The longer you delay the critical maintenance that is needed in a lot of these facilities, the more it will end up costing.

I think it is absolutely essential. Those are two good programs that you mentioned. They are critical.

Personally, I think it is really important for Congress and the DOD to work together to keep SIOP on track.
