In terms of insulin, let us not forget that a vial of insulin, and this is a vial of Humalog right here, costs less than $10 to manufacture, as I understand it.
They are sick and tired of paying outrageously high prices, not only for insulin, but for other products as well.
What scientists are telling us is that there is a reasonable chance that, God forbid, that a pandemic as deadly as COVID could occur in 10 years.
Congress should avoid the false narrative that insufficient Federal findings were to blame for our pathetic COVID response.
What has that done for us? How many lives were saved during the COVID pandemic because of investments by PAHPA or BARDA?
