I'm convinced that so many Members of Congress of my own former party suppress their conscience and their better judgment out of fear and I think submission to Donald Trump.

We need to look for efficiency and to be very creative in how we approach the governance side here.

The heavy price that has been paid for our freedom and just really the privilege that we have to be here today and to work out our differences and try to resolve these problems in our representative republic here.
