What sometimes is forgotten is that if we make our energy costs so high by unreasonable regulations, that a company has to send their jobs--either they close down and somebody else in another country starts producing that product, or they have to send their jobs overseas.

But if we put such huge pressures on American industries that they take their jobs to these other parts of the world, wouldn't you agree with me that intuitively, we are actually making the problem worse and that what we ought to be looking for are the low-cost fixes and not the high-cost fixes?

Would you also agree with me that when the President said, 'because I am capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it, whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money.'
