Virginia's new Republican governor Glenn Youngkin is facing pushback after his office created an e-mail tip line for parents to complain about mask mandates and report schools that teach what he calls divisive subjects like critical race theory.

But guess what, a lot of school districts in Virginia, the parents are saying, we want our kids to wear masks. We don't want our kids to get sick. He is overruling that.

So unfortunately, he's depriving Virginia public school students of the same benefits that he gave to his own children, they are getting an education, where they're not going to be taught to challenge ideas and to have a free exchange of ideas.

We`re asking for folks to send us reports and observations that they have that will help us be aware of things like privilege bingo.

I think we need to make sure that people trust these voting machines. And I just think -- like, I grew up in a world where you have an audit every year. In businesses, you have an audit. So, let`s just audit the voting machines, publish it so everybody can see it.

A lot of white and suburban parents were like, you know what? Diversity makes me uncomfortable. F them kids. Let’s get Youngkin.

Yes, because when it came to the dog whistle of racism, when it came to parents’ choice, when it came to CRT that is not being taught... But now he does the anti-mask and anti-vaccine mandates, and their kids are going to be exposed to COVID.

There`s not a course called Critical Race Theory. All of the principles of Critical Race Theory, the fundamental building blocks of actually accusing one group of being -- being oppressors and another of being oppressed, of actually burdening children today for sins of the past, for teaching our children to judge one another based on the color of their skin... yes, that does exist in Virginia schools today.

Yes, we will teach all history, the good and the bad, because we can`t know where we`re going unless we know where we have come from. But to actually teach our children that one group is advantaged and another is disadvantaged simply because of the color of their skin cuts across everything we know to be true.
