In my home State of Maryland, banning funds for Planned Parenthood would have a negative and disproportionate impact on poor women.

Republicans keep making this claim over and over again, but that does not make it true.
This is about a conservative philosophy that says we are constitutionalists... except when it comes to women controlling their own bodies and making their own health decisions.
Our friend from Florida asks the right questions. He has just got the wrong answer. I can answer those questions. I want a world that rolls back the nuclear capability of Iran, not a world based on a false hope that we can make it work…
It was John Kennedy who negotiated the first nuclear Test Ban Treaty successfully with our archenemy that threatened to bury us--the Soviet Union. He said that we should never negotiate out of fear, but we should never fear to negotiate. I…
Maybe the President could get some advice from the leadership of the Republican Conference in how to figure out what resolution to bring to the floor. I now proudly yield 4 minutes to the gentleman from Rhode Island (Mr. Cicilline), my…
In closing, I hope our fellow Americans understand what is really at stake here: engagement and the rollback of a nuclear threat or the kinetic option, which is military intervention that takes us down a path that will lead to more…
I would simply point out for the record that Soleimani remains on the list. I yield 3 minutes to the gentleman from Minnesota (Mr. Ellison).
I am reminded back to Churchill. He said it is always better to jaw- jaw than to war-war. I now yield 2 minutes to the gentlewoman from California (Ms. Lee).
Okay. What a lucky man my friend from California is. I yield 2 minutes to the gentlewoman from California (Mrs. Davis).
Before I recognize the gentleman from New York, I would simply say I think that last analogy is invidious. The history of World War II is the fact that people ignored warnings for so long that, by the time Munich happened, it most…

So if I've got a--if I haven't been reimbursed for my $300 monthly childcare, and maybe I have two kids, so my cost is more than $300, from a cash flow point of view for an active duty service member, that's a hardship.
And congratulations to the U.S. Army and GSA for bringing Democrats and Republicans together here in the Congress.
I believe this is a vigorous and enforceable agreement. I believe it is the only path to peace.
We didn't trust the Soviets. Ronald Reagan said, "doveryai, no proveryai," trust, but verify.
I believe it is enforceable. I believe it is verifiable. I believe it is a robust agreement.
And it is the obligation of every agency manager within the Federal Government to protect the workforce from such unwanted advances.
I think all of us ought to stipulate that sexual harassment in any form is wrong.
Congress, we folks up here, need to enhance laws against discrimination and abuse, rather than watering them down.
I find it ironic that we are recruiting with 21st century Western social media. We are recruiting foot soldiers for a ninth century caliphate.
