Unfortunately, there is evidence of fraud and abuse in the asbestos trust compensation system.

This trust system was designed to relieve pressure on the courts, allow businesses to emerge from Chapter 11 and continue operations.

The history of asbestos litigation is filled with human tragedy, culminating in what the Supreme Court described as an 'asbestos litigation crisis'.
