Are you serious? I mean for 25 years farmers, localities, and others across the Chesapeake Bay region have substantially reduced the amount of nitrogen, phosphorous, and sediment going into the streams that go into the Chesapeake Bay and now you are claiming that we are standing at the starting line?

I do agree that the president, whatever advice he's getting, the president should let the memo speak for itself. He should release it.
I do not disagree with Professor Bray and Mr. von Spakovsky that asserting the limitation of the jurisdiction of the courts would be a good solution.
I think that we have to work together to find more flexibility for them so they are not swept up and treated the same way as other people who may well deserve to be in a class action.
The Judiciary Committee has been doing everything it can to fulfill that mandate including on the regulatory reform front.
