Sylvia Rodriguez Garcia is a U.S. Representative for Texas's 29th congressional district, serving since January 3, 2019. As a Catholic, my faith, and the love for others that we preach, I have to support the freedom for women to make a deeply personal and private decision about their own healthcare.
But shifting gears a little but, I was pleased to read the Commandant's planning guide and see a paragraph in the core value section addressing sexual assault.
To those who think, those in America who believe that my extreme MAGA colleagues aren't coming for you, they are coming for you.
I would greatly appreciate the committee's consideration of this community project, as we seek to get more young talent, and in particular young Latinos, on track for careers in space and STEM.
I thank President Biden and your leadership, Chairman Yarmuth, in delivering a responsible, caring budget that intends to serve all Americans.
Anything that we can do to better fund, robustly fund programs to help the uninsured would be really great for my district.
