Speaker Boehner is doing him a favor, though. The speaker is doing the president a favor. I don't want people to have to choose between watching the president's plan for jobs and watching the Republican debate.
I want everybody both to see both sides, I really do honestly. It's good for the country. We ought to have a debate about this.
Of course he's being hypocritical. And on the thing, he's being political. He's a very smart guy so I can't say that he's playing this because he's done. He must see political angle here. I frankly don't.
Let's hope the president produces something that is big and bold and will make a difference, and let's hope the Congress passes it.
