I have been greatly disappointed by President Trump's proposed cuts to those vital programs, but remain committed to supporting much-needed homeland security grants to communities across the country.

You and they work hard to protect American families every day, and we thank you for that.

They may have shiny objects they can wave in front of them but they really don't invest in the wellbeing of the country's health overall.

Chinese talent programs pose a serious threat to U.S. businesses and universities through economic espionage and theft of intellectual property.

These organizations are a threat to our nation's security by serving as a platform for China's intelligence collection and political agenda.

Certainly, Congress has appropriated $17 billion additional in the bipartisan budget act.

In fact, it is my highest priority to build that third reservoir that should have been built a long time ago in the Cypress Creek area.

As I talked to the Governor, Governor Abbott, he tells me it is his highest priority as well for the greater Houston area.
