We understand that there's a second U.S. officer who will also be PNGed.

We will respond appropriately, certainly, reciprocally. But perhaps more than that, perhaps proportionately.

We are trying to figure out how to make sure we get that right, to continue to make sure that there's security while note rewarding bad behavior.

We don't do a very good job of that. Now, President Bush didn't do a very good job of it, President Obama didn't do a very good job of it, and I am hoping this President will see the need to do that.

I think President Obama had the right idea to do a surge in Afghanistan, but unfortunately, he pulled our forces out after 15 months, and that was a tragic mistake.

They are clearly following Sheik Adnani's call to kill by whatever means necessary.

While I believe we are safer today, terror threats persist.

Many known terrorists are taking this path as well.

This is why I think closing the legal loopholes is so important, because it does no good if they get in and you can't deport them.

We can no longer access that database because of these laws. So it affects greatly National security and public safety.

If we know they are here illegally based on some fingerprint submissions, we should have access that person so we can enforce our law.

What I worry about what is happening in California... is that they are building a wall between Federal law enforcement and local law enforcement.

Prosecuting those who enter the country illegally is the right policy.

Without changes to the way we treat unaccompanied alien children and family units, and without tightening our asylum standards, there will always be powerful incentives for aliens to come to this country illegally.

Building a physical wall along key parts of the Southwest Border is absolutely necessary.

We must end that loophole that puts children in the hands of smugglers who abuse them along the way to the border.

Our asylum process is broken, rife with fraudulent claims.

Every single migrant, whether an Unaccompanied Alien Child, Family Unit, or single adult, that illegally crosses the Southwest Border enriches the cartel and assists their growth and lethality.

The bills before us are critical to strengthening U.S. engagement and protecting our national security interests across the globe.

I applaud Chairman McCaul and Ranking Member Engel for crafting bipartisan legislation to ensure that the State Department has the leadership and direction to support America's energy diplomacy.

This bipartisan bill deepens and updates our security partnership with Israel to ensure that Israel can defend itself, by itself, in the face of these evolving threats.

I think this E3 agreement was a good idea. I was hopeful it would happen.

If we fail to act on these legal loopholes, my concern is they will be released.

I am concerned that since becoming Secretary, you have not always been forthcoming on certain matters.

His Muslim travel ban, his decision to terminate the DACA program, his Executive Order on immigration enforcement and border security which seeks to make us a Nation of immigrants no more.
