Our constituents are seeing firsthand the difficulties caused by overregulation and bureaucracy.

I would like to submit the following statements for the record.

Earlier this year, Congress took the first step in this area and passed legislation to fix the way Medicare pays our nation's physicians.

I think we need a better--one thing, this is a bipartisan issue.

This sounds like a good place for Congress to start establishing site-neutral payment.

Clearly, our goal is to save Medicare for the long term.

The fact of the matter is, the number of adults in the workforce right now compared to the population has been stalled out about the same as it was nearly six, seven years ago.

This recovery is the most disappointing recovery in half a century.

We have been stuck in second gear for way too long.

We are missing 5 million jobs, more than that, in the economy.

Even in this Administration, you can't claim jobs, you created it, and then ignore those who can't find a job.

Sally Supplemental, though, because there is a glidepath, gets an extra $650 a month.

There is a lot of common ground in this hearing today.

We want to eliminate fraud in the system.
