The ACA, in my view, through heavy subsidies is reducing the cost for some, but it is increasing the cost for others.

The ACA has helped some Americans, no doubt, but has hurt many more.

The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services and the IRS need to do more to protect American families and taxpayers.

More delay and confusion will only result in more mistrust and more families losing access to the health insurance that works for them and their families.

Care coordination innovation within Medicare Advantage I think has been hugely helpful long term for our seniors.

There is no other room. That is correct.

Or you have to increase the costs to seniors.

They have to reduce the benefits.

The report points to one glaring conclusion. Seniors in every district in America, Republican or Democrat, now face damaging cuts to their health care and pharmacy benefits they selected because it fits their needs.

There is going to be real impact. It is coming at us soon.

I was around the last time Congress went after Medicare private plans in the 1997 Balanced Budget Act.

The reason we are holding this hearing is that the Affordable Care Act cut, slashed more than $300 billion out of Medicare Advantage that so many of our seniors rely upon.

The ACA brings a new level of uncertainty to those who depend on Medicare Advantage, and the time is now to consider the feature of these Medicare programs and the importance Medicare Advantage Plans play for a growing number of seniors.

It is the responsibility of this committee, it is the responsibility of this Congress to make sure that those taxpayers... do not have their money wasted.

The new definition of a navigator is a fraud agent.

It is another Federal program that is going to be easily scammed and easily accessed by someone willing to commit fraud.

I think the progress we are seeing is important in those agreements.

You are doing a terrific job, not merely in representing U.S. negotiating agreements so critical to our economy.

Thanks for your leadership and all the new energy you bring to the trade agenda in Congress.
