And it discourages me that Fermi 3, right now the license is there, the utility is not really thinking about using it at this point in time because of economics and politics.
But my brother died of liver cancer and they tried all the conventional therapies in the world on him and it just wasn't working.
if your doctor comes to the decision that all reasonable conventional therapeutic efforts have been exhausted in trying to protect your life and is willing to state that, and if the patient is willing to forego any legal lawsuit claims…
even with the best of intentions the FDA still thinks they know better than the--than the doctor who's treating the patient.

Hopefully, it won't take us 45 years to move the bill, Mr. Chairman, and we can have a bill-signing ceremony.
I mean, again, somebody in your agency has known for a long, long time this is a problem; a long, long time.

This is an important hearing, but I don't think it will make the front pages.
I commend Chairman Walden and Ranking Member Pallone, along with subcommittee Chairman Burgess and subcommittee Ranking Member Green for their excellent leadership on this piece of legislation. If you look at the front page of The…
As we all know, last Thursday evening, we played the annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity. This is normally the time when the losing manager has to congratulate the winning manager. Over the last 10 years, I have become fairly…
I think what Job Corps brings is hope for the future, a safe haven for students to achieve high school diplomas.
Many would be forced to return home to a home life with extreme challenges, no work, lack of skills, lack of education.
I think what makes me proud, and possibly a lot of my colleagues, is making a difference in the lives of students.
My contention is that, inherent to American citizenship, is the right to have an opportunity, and that Job Corps creates opportunity for young people in circumstances wherein often that opportunity is too difficult to find.
