We are in the process ... of searching for, preparing to arrest, Democrats who may be in Texas, may be elsewhere.

Texas House Democrats abandoned their duty to Texans.

The special legislative session cannot last more than 30 days, but I could continue to call new sessions indefinitely.

This order will remain in effect until all missing Democrat House members are accounted for and brought to the Texas Capitol.

Texas will continue to fight for what is right.

Real Texans don’t run from a fight.

I think based upon comments made by legislators themselves, they face a possibility of facing bribery charges, which is a second-degree felony in the state of Texas.

Any Democrat who ‘solicits, accepts, or agrees to accept’ such funds to assist in the violation of legislative duties or for purposes of skipping a vote may have violated bribery laws.

For any member who fails to do so, I will invoke Texas Attorney General Opinion No. KP-0382 to remove the missing Democrats from membership in the Texas House.

Derelict Democrat House members must return to Texas and be in attendance when the House reconvenes at 3:00 PM on Monday, August 4, 2025.

These absences are not merely unintended and unavoidable interruptions in public service.
