The height the rushing water reached to the top of cabins was shocking. We won't stop until we find every girl who was in those cabins.

Today I visited Camp Mystic. It, and the river running beside it, were horrendously ravaged in ways unlike I've seen in any natural disaster.

The way winners talk is not to point fingers. They talk about solutions.

We had assets here already. That said, we didn't know the magnitude of the storm.

No one knew there would be a 30-foot high tsunami of water.

When more water comes down, it could lead to rapid flash flooding events.

If you’re in any of those regions, you need to realize, for one, you’re in an area that is already saturated with water.

Prayer works. Thanks to everybody across the country and across the globe who have prayed for the people of Texas during this very challenging time.

Air rescue missions like this are being done around the clock. We will not stop until everyone is accounted for.

We will be relentless in going after and assuring that we locate every single person who’s been a victim of this flooding event.
