What happens to FedEx--used to be what happens to General Motors is what happens to America. Well, now it is what happens to FedEx.
It is not just Memphis. It was St. Louis with TWA, it was Cincinnati, it has been Pittsburgh, lots of hub cities who put a lot of investment in their airports, suffered because of mergers.
I understand why labor supports this proposed merger. Employees of both carriers are poised to get a better deal than they would otherwise.
I look forward to what I hope and know will be a productive working relationship in the 113th Congress.

I appreciate it, and I understand safety is the utmost concern, but it needs to be balanced in terms of you can still have safety and have the economic development.
Retrospective review, however, should not necessarily lead to rescinding existing rules.
From what I can tell, there appears to be general agreement that periodic retrospective review of existing regulations is a good thing.
this is a rip-off both of citizens, who are the most vulnerable and need these refunds and are being taken advantage of, and a rip-off of the Government.
