I think it is good that we have come to this point. It was unsustainable what we were doing.

There are more needs than money.

When it comes to STEM education, I say we have got to do it all.

I congratulate Holly for her many accomplishments and wish her the best of luck when she travels to Orlando in November.

I rise today to recognize Ms. Holly Lane's selection to be the 1999 Miss Tennessee American Preteen.

Holly, the daughter of Bobby and Sarah Lane, is a talented eighth-grade student at Avery Trace Middle School.

Holly is an exceptional young lady who will represent the state well in the upcoming national contest.

What we need to do now is activate the existing rail tracks.

Middle Tennessee is one of the fastest growing areas in the country right now.
