The Inaction Has Consequences Act mandates that if Members don't complete appropriations bills by the end of the fiscal year, their pay is withheld.

The No Budget, No Pay Act will prohibit Members of the House or Senate from receiving pay if their respective chamber does not pass a budget by April 15 of each year.

Congress should fulfill their constitutional duty to produce a budget resolution that puts our nation on a fiscally sustainable path.

Our repeated failure to control federal spending and address our mounting debt truly is the greatest long-term danger to this nation.

It is an honor to serve on this committee. The people of South Carolina and the people of the Fourth Congressional District have wanted representation here for a while, and I am just excited to get to work.

We welcome you to the committee, and look forward to a productive engagement as a legislator.

I encourage you to continue with your plans and do what you need to do to ensure that the Bureau's goals are fully embraced.

I personally have been through two apprenticeship programs, not in the formal sense, but I was in law school and I wanted to learn more about the courtroom.

I am going to give you my personal experience with apprenticeships.
